See you in 2021!
We’ve decided to play it safe and postpone the festival until 2021 – date TBD.
Our cheesy plans may be on hold, but our neighbors' needs are not! We planned this event to benefit Neighbor In Need, a volunteer-run organization which assists low-income, senior homeowners in Edgewood, Kirkwood, and East Lake with necessary home repairs and safety improvements, with the goal of allowing them to remain in their homes safely.
We're working on creative, socially-distanced ways to join together as a community to support this great cause – keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates in the coming months.
If you purchased a ticket for the 2020 event:
Since so much is up in the air surrounding the 2021 festival, the tickets you purchased will not be valid for the future event. Instead, you have two options:
Request a refund via Eventbrite anytime between now and October 23, 2020. Instructions on how to do so can be found here.
Do nothing, and your money will be passed along to Neighbor In Need. All tickets that have not been refunded by October 23 will be canceled, but 100% of what you paid will go toward a great cause.
Where is this thing happening, anyway?
We’re the Edgewood neighborhood, not the Edgewood Ave. that runs through Old Fourth Ward (Did you just learn something?).
The festival will take place on Arkwright Place between Dahlgren Street SE and Whitefoord Avenue SE.
Neighborhood parking is very limited, so we recommend biking, scooting, or taking Uber, Lyft, or MARTA.
For attendees arriving by Rail:
You’ll need to exit the Edgewood/Candler Park to the South towards LaFrance street and continuing south on Whitefoord to the festival entrance at Arkwright.
Be aware that the south side elevator is currently out of service; if you need an elevator, take the train to Inman Park Station, exit on the north side and take the shuttle to the south side of the station.
From Inman Park Station, the #4, #74, and #32 buses all depart to the south, where you can disembark at the corner of Moreland and Memorial Drive, walking East to the festival entrance at Dahlgren.
Several stops on the #21 Memorial Drive bus are also particularly convenient to the festival.
For those interested in cycling to the event, the Festival takes place along a future segment the Trolley Line Trail - The former streetcar route follows a mostly-flat route that veers off the Southeast Beltline Trail in Reynoldstown at the intersection of Wylie and Flat Shoals Ave SE. Mapped here. Complimentary Bike Valet will be available at the event.
